Commanders Training
The Leadership Training Academy (LTA) is a new approach to Royal Rangers training. The previous Leadership Training Course (LTC) was a close-ended training plan. Once a commander earned his or her Leaders Medal of Achievement (LMA) there was no additional classroom-type training, outside of the national training events available, where the commander could enhance his or her skills and abilities.

Advanced National Training Camp is designed to provide Royal Rangers leaders with additional training beyond that offered at the National Training Camp and will help inspire leaders to greater involvement in the Royal Rangers ministry. A leader must have attended National Training Camp before enrolling.

National Training Camp is designed to give leaders professional training in camping and leadership, plus the opportunity of outstanding fellowship and adventure in the outdoors.

National Training Camp is a prerequisite for all camps except Ranger Kids Training Conference.
